And really, doesn't this picture say it all?

Carole and Laurie
Two of my favorite people. How funny is Laurie's wineglass?? And the row counter around her neck? Just perfect. Every time I look at this picture it gives me a crack up.
Here's Margene, taking possession of her first spinning wheel! I was lucky enough to bear witness to the momentous event. Look how happy she looks! I would be too, it's a great wheel.

Margene and Marcia
Julia's argyles caused a great commotion (And that's her Moth shawl in action too!).

Kellee and Kathy and the argyle socks
I met Dave, who finished his kilt hose in the nick of time and wore them to the festival. This picture was supposed to be of those, but I blew it on that apparently since you can barely see them. Oh well, you can appreciate his sweater - he knit that too. The whole ensemble makes my little Scottish heart beat faster.

Marcy showed us all some of her spindle party tricks. She has an impressive repetoire, believe me. I know, I didn't believe spindling could involve party tricks either, until I saw them.

Martha made herself this blogger bingo nametag. Well, more of a sandwich board really. We teased her mercilessly about it, but it did help people spot her.

And Maryse, who I could hang out with all day and never get sick of. She's that cool. And funny too.

And that's it for my pictures. I know, not very many. But you can go around to the blogs of the other hundreds of people who were there and see pictures of the sheep, and booths, and fairgrounds. I'm sure there will be plenty. And next time I'll have some pictures of some cool stuff I dragged home with me. No little goat though, Julia put her foot down on that. She's no fun.

You got some wonderful pictures. I love them all!
Thats the best photo of Carole and Laurie - love it! Looks like a lot of fun was had outside the gates.
Those are really great photos of everyone. It's nice to see some faces to put with the names, too.
I love the pics! I'm so glaad you took some. me, not so much. Great shot of Laurie. Thanks for the excellent company. The goat? Christmas is coming . . .
SIGH! I have such a fun hangover tonight. I think you are just wonderful! I do!
I'm humming a song.....can you guess?
Memories....like the corners of my mind, misty watercolor memor. Oh, stop!
xo
Too bad about the goat. That would have been a good take-home souvenir. Too bad it would smell like a......goat.
Ummmmmmm, yeah. I didn't realize i still had the row counter on.
I love the kilt hose, er, sweater shot of Dave. My husband is already bugging me for a sweater like that. I'd better not let him see the picture or he'll want kilt hose to go with his kilt too!
I am sitting here with the biggest grin -- enjoying it all again. Still loving Marcy's party tricks and Martha's sign. Did I tell Ruth that I tried it on? (Don't think so - :-)
Thanks again for all the fun!!
Thanks for that photo, Cheryl! (Well, all of them, actually...mine are dreadful!) I'm so glad I got to meet you finally...just sorry I couldn't stay longer at "Winebeck"! (Did you try my Goat Door or Cable Bay wines? You have no idea the looks I got at the wine shop!) Where are the "loot" pictures?!
Fun Hangover....I like that...haha! Great pictures and good times..it was a fun weekend!!
Great pictures of people! (Now, where's the loot? ;-)
GREAT photos, Cheryl! Especially the one of Carole and Laurie. Too funny. And I would like to share with your readers that despite appearances, I was not blotto when you took that picture. Sorry about the goat. Mean ole Julia!
ok, i look like ass. thanks. ;)
oh well. maybe i should print that picture and post it on the fridge as a reminder
anyway, it was wonderful spending time with you at winebeck. heh heh.
Thanks for the pictures. Ah, that Margene! She finally did it.
So, where's all the loot?
Great photos! You took a Lot more people photos than I did.
Awesome pictures, Cheryl! I took almost none so I'm extra glad you took some!
So glad I met you and got to talk to you for a bit on Saturday! :o)
Your Moth is stunning in person ;o)
Awesome photos, Cheryl. Looks like you had a great time. :-)
A Celtic man who knits? Be still my beating heart.
I saw that guy in the kilt! He was wonderful! I am so disappointed I didn't get to meet you either! I did see you and was inching my way over to where you were! Ack! Perhaps next year! I did see Maryse and say hi. She is truly wonderful. I think everyone had a great time. I love reading all the entries!
It was great, wasn't it? Every single bit. I only wish I'd had more time to hang out with everyone. (Of course you didn't tell Ruth, Kathy, after she made me take it off.)
Enjoyed looking at all the photos...helped me put some faces with names.
Sound like you had a great time. I would have wanted a little goat, too...
No, Kathy, you did NOT tell me you'd tried on Flyingdales! (Although it does look really good on you.) Must have been some time after Her Ladyship tired of being my fit model.
It was a great weekend ... it was wonderful to see you.
Awesome photos. The one of Carole and Laurie is my favorite- the realization of the row counter as a fashion accessory. It was so much fun hanging out with you! Thanks for the laughter.
loved getting to meet you in person :-)
Dammit, I missed the spindle party tricks. Now I'm really curious.
It was great to meet you, Cheryl. I'm glad we didn't have to call in the SWAT team that was tasked with making sure you didn't leave with a new fleece. :-)
You captured the true essence of Laurie and Carole. It was great to meet you and have you chronicle the wheel exchange!
Looks like you had a blast Cheryl. The photos are fabulous! Can't wait to see what you dragged home with you.
You did a great job capturing the personalities of everyone, I feel like I was there. ;)
So glad you had a good time...
